QUALIFICATIONS
My qualifications are based in over 18 years of diversified professional experience world wide. I have been an audio engineer for music production, Live Sound and show production, remote recording, post production sound designer/dubbing mixer, Location field mixer/recordist/boom operator. I have extensive video editing/graphics/motion graphics and system maintenance experience including several of the best known editing systems available and their communications with other systems. In my Post production experience I contributed in different ways to hundreds of hours of programming distributed by Discovery international, National Geographic, and The Learning Channel.
Many of these programs received awards at the many international festivals and
specifically countless Telly awards. I am also a qualified Live sound engineer having
done production and FOH for countless national artists, I have also worked in this
capacity in over 14 countries. I have worked as a systems engineer and designer for several companies whose clients have included- The US Navy (acoustic testing and tef analysis) CBN (systems design and installation and operation for 30 million viewer live television shoot) The Federal Reserve Bank (video projection maintenance) to name a few. In the Last 5 years I have acted as an audio engineering instructor at the largest media specific college in the US. I taught Session Recording for Fullsail and received continued praises from employers/ parents and students alike about my workability, ability to articulate and explain complex procedure, advance technical skill and understanding of media arts in general, and general attitude and like-ability. In the Last 2 Years I taught Post Production For Film and Television as well as Advanced Pro Tools

I was initially responsible for the sound design mix and review of our produced material
often operating under extremely tight deadlines. As my career progressed I added to those
responsibilities all systems communication protocols between the video and audio aspects
of our productions and general technical functionality of our computer
systems/workflow/and quality controlled deliverables. I was also responsible for the
addition of created and field recorded effects which were utilized continually throughout
the productions and added to the permanent library. My sound design included
everything from cinematic practical sound design to the use of synthesis for sound design
as well as utilizing midi and sampling for Foley when walkers were not in our budget. In
addition to this I composed, produced, played and recorded several original music pieces
that were applied as incidental (location specific) music cues as well as pieces for the
proper score for the programming. I also acted as music editor repairing and re-arranging
scores from original composers as well as full programming scoring utilizing production
music libraries I also acted as the location recordist on numerous shows including multi
track field recording for reality show type productions

employment. I have done record production for countless artists including- Bad Boy
records, Bi Focal records, Moo Cow records, Paul Roessler, Chuck Dukowski, Jason
Gerken and various major studios. I have worked in a live engineer capacity for several
international tours as well as Local venues in the south eastern Virginia market. I have
operated as a remote recording engineer for CBN, Capriole (Old Dominion University)
Baroque Orchestra, The Virginia Symphony, and The Virginia Ballet. I am also fluent in
Graphics editing and creation through Adobe Photo Shop Illustrator, and Macromedia
Flash. I have extensive video editing knowledge and ability utilizing avid (various levels)
and Final Cut Pro as well as Adobe After Effects and Premier. I have designed web
content for music organizations as well as the City of Chesapeake Virginia’s animal
control web content. Lastly I have done extensive systems design and trouble shooting of
various types of multi media setups such as conference room touch screen control, Home
theatre custom installation. Commercial audio video installation, Rigging and sound
system installations of all sizes as well as computer and analog recording integration into
studios and live situations.
